Managing Partner, Longevity Fund
Laura was 11 years old when she wrote to biologist Dr. Cynthia Kenyon to ask if she could visit her laboratory. A few weeks later Laura flew from her native New Zealand to San Francisco where she ultimately spent 2 years working in Dr. Kenyon’s lab.
Before she was legally able to sign contracts, Laura raised Fund I. To date, Longevity’s portfolio companies have collected >$500M in follow-on funding, three of five companies in Fund I have gone public or filed their S-1’s, and all five have candidate therapeutics in clinical trials.
